Combined Arms Collective Training Facility (CACTF)
El Paso, Texas
The opportunity for real-world simulated training is a key component of successful troop preparation. This 1,280-acre tactical range and urban training facility consists of 29 structures, mock utilities, and limited subterranean training. The facility allows units to train soldiers on building entry and room clearing techniques under live and blank-fire conditions at the battalion and taskforce levels. On-site structures include a range operations center, an operations and storage building, a latrine, a mess shelter, an after action review building, and a variety of simulated urban structures.
