Ross Group is the engineering designer and construction consultant for this state-of-the-art reverberant acoustic test facility (RATF) as part of a vibro acoustic test facility for a confidential international client. The RATF produces a sound pressure of approximately 164 dBa and is designed to incorporate vibration testing equipment supplied by others. Ross Group Engineering is responsible for the acoustic, structural, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical design for the RATF system. Ross Group Engineering also completed the reaction mass design for the vibration testing equipment. The reaction mass is located inside the RATF sound chamber, creating challenges to do two very different tests in the space.

Ross Group Industrial is contracted to complete the construction once the design phase is complete.
