About the Project
This new training support center warehouse, which encompasses 43,000 sq. ft., is responsible for providing storage, instruction, loan/issue, accountability, and maintenance for Training Aids Devices Systems and Simulations (TADSS) for all active Army, Reserve Component, and Cadet Command units within a three-state area.
Primary spaces include open high-bay vehicle storage area, offices, classrooms, restrooms, arms room, consolidated entry, and reception area. The high-bay area features a large 25’x25’ central cupola with translucent panels. Scopes of work included demolition, site work, and utilities; foundations; MEP and fire suppression; and finishes. This project incorporated sustainable features, such as a high efficiency HVAC and LED lighting, and is LEED Silver Certifiable.
